Jerry Slusky
Mr. Slusky is a partner of the newly merged office of Smith Gardner Slusky Law. Prior to the recent merge, Jerry was the founder and chairman of Slusky Law, LLC, a shareholder, director and principal of Gross & Welch, P.C., and a partner with the Omaha office of Kutak. He is a member of the Omaha Bar, Nebraska Bar, Iowa Bar and Florida Bar Associations and holds a Nebraska Real Estate Brokers License. Mr. Slusky is known for his expertise in real estate planning, zoning, development, financing and leasing. Before joining Kutak Rock, he served as a vice president of Noddle Development Company, an Omaha-based retail shopping center developer. As adjunct professor of law at Creighton University School of Law, Mr. Slusky taught real estate planning, development and taxation. Mr. Slusky founded the Commercial Real Estate Workshop (“CREW”) in 1990. CREW annually attracts over 400 real estate professionals from Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota and Kansas. Mr. Slusky was appointed as a member of the Midwest Real Estate News Advisory Board in 2004. In addition to his legal training and experiences, Mr. Slusky is a trained mediator who has studied with the Office of Dispute Resolution, and most recently undertook the intensive mediation training workshops offered by the internationally recognized leader in the field of mediation, ADR Chambers, through the University of Windsor in Toronto.

Ann Hambly
Ann Hambly is the President/CEO and founding partner of 1st Service Solutions, the first firm dedicated to serving as a borrower advocate in loan restructuring and assumptions.
She has more than 30 years of commercial mortgage servicing experience, with over 15 years of that involving CMBS product. As head of servicing institutions for Prudential, Bank of America, GE Capital and Nomura, Hambly has been responsible for portfolios exceeding $40 billion.
During her first three years at Prudential, the customer satisfaction score increased by 13 percent. And, due to positive customer feedback, she earned the Pinnacle at GE Capital - awarded to one percent of GE's top performers. She was also named the Commercial Real Estate Professional of the year by Cambridge Who’s Who for two years in a row.
Hambly has always been a leader in the commercial mortgage arena and was instrumental in the development of industry standards. A visionary leader, she recognized the need for a borrower advocate and founded 1st Service Solutions in 2005, even before the collapse of the commercial real estate market. Her firm had an increase in annual revenue in the second year of operation of over 200 percent, and, since its creation has resolved more than $2 billion in loans for its clients.
In addition, Hambly has served on numerous boards, including the Multifamily Housing Institute and Real Estate Capital Resources Association and the Commercial Mortgage Securities Association. Most notably, she was the first female chair of the board of the Mortgage Bankers Association.
